This satinwood and ebony banded baby grand had experienced the double impact of flooding. Firstly, it was subject to flood water a terrible and devastating occurrence. The subsequent clean up involved de-humidifiers which caused the pianos veneer and banding to loosen and present significant damage.
The humidifiers caused excessive drying warping the beautiful wood and impacting on the sound and structure of the piano.
Our team at the 1066 workshop worked tirelessly to restore this beautiful treasure back to its former glory and you can see from the work conducted that the previous flood damage is a distant memory.
