From our expansive workshop in Cambridge to our prestigious showroom in Harrods, London, our family-run business is built on a legacy of craftsmanship. Every piano we restore tells a story, and we take pride in preserving its history while adding a touch of modern innovation. Whether it’s a cherished family heirloom or a concert-fit masterpiece, our team ensures each instrument is treated with the utmost care and expertise.

A Legacy Of Excellence In Piano Restoration
Since 1975, 1066 Pianos has been synonymous with quality and dedication. Our founder, John Roy Norman, set the standard for meticulous restoration, a tradition carried forward by three generations of the Norman family. Our Cambridge workshop, one of the largest in the world, is where the magic happens. Here, skilled artisans combine traditional techniques with modern advancements, such as our unique self-play system, to create instruments that are as functional as they are beautiful. It’s not just restoration; it’s a revival of music and memories.
Craftsmanship That Stands The Test Of Time
Restoring a piano is more than a technical process; it’s an art form. At 1066 Pianos, we understand the emotional and historical value of each instrument. Our team meticulously rebuilds every component, from the soundboard to the keys, ensuring the piano not only looks stunning but also produces a rich, resonant sound. With our blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern technology, we create pianos that are all set to inspire for generations to come.
